the post

I'm looking for a good roommate to live with in Queen Anne, Ballard, or Fremont. I'm 25, a guy, friendly, clean, quiet, non-smoking/drugs/etc. You must also be friendly, clean, quiet, non-smoking/drugs. Preferably in your twenties, any gender. I value sleep a lot and get woken up easily by noise, so it won't work if you're into midnight cooking extravaganzas or late night drunken parties.

If that sounds reasonable, here's a little more info about me. I grew up in Seattle, but was in Massachusetts for 6 years, at Williams College and grad school at MIT. I'm definitely a "liberal arts" guy... I love talking to people who are really into whatever they do. My favorite pastime at the moment is volunteering with Seattle Works. I've also been working on some paper crafts projects. And I exercise every day, whether running, walking, yoga, etc. I have a good job as a software developer and designer. The company I work for usually provides lunch and dinner, so I'm not around very much during week days. I mostly eat vegetarian. I recycle, compost, and turn off the lights when I leave.

If interested, shoot me a message with a little info about yourself and what you're looking for.

the blurb

I'm 25, a guy, clean, friendly, quiet, non-smoking/drugs/etc. I exercise every day, whether running, walking, yoga, etc. I value sleep a lot and I'm quite sensitive to noise, so having a quiet house without noises at night from the tv, music, washing machine, banging doors, etc. is a must.

If that sounds reasonable, here's a little more info… I grew up in Seattle, but was in Massachusetts for 6 years, at Williams College and grad school at MIT. My favorite pastime at the moment is volunteering with Seattle Works. I have a steady, well-paying job as a software developer. The company I work for usually provides lunch and dinner, so I'm not around very much during week days.

I'd prefer roommates who are not in the tech industry, since I get more than enough computer geek time at work. I consider myself more of a "liberal arts" guy... I love talking to people who are really into whatever they do, be it health, art, the environment, education, etc. I'm pretty busy, but I also think it would be cool to have housemates that can introduce me to new fun activities. I don't watch much TV, but I'm kind of a sucker for The Office, The Daily Show, and recently Glee. I mostly eat vegetarian, but I'm not offended by meat or anything. I laugh a lot.
